BRIGA TRAINING specializes in CrossFit™ for those determined to train with the intensity of an athlete. In fact, we were the first CrossFit Affiliate of Central America and the Caribbean. In 2008 when we started we were the ONLY Gym in Latin America to open it's doors with three Certified Coaches, since at the time there weren't CrossFit Level 1 Certs offered in Spanish or in Latin American countries.
We can honestly say that CrossFit™ not only changed our lives, it enabled us to change the way our whole Country trained. Before us, nobody knew about CrossFit™ or any other way to train, apart from the traditional Globo gym style of training. Before us the idea of having a 55 year old Mom doing Deadlifts and handstand push-ups was ridiculous actually, now it's a common site.

Workouts are short and intense, and incorporate elements of gymnastics, olympic weight lifting, rowing, track, body weight calisthenics and circuit training.

It is a strenuous workout; however, we are able to progress each exercise to fit each individual. If you are an experienced exerciser, you will be surprised to find just how hard you can push. If you are new to exercise, you will be delighted to see how quickly you are able to progress. Every member of the group will continually reach new levels of fitness. You will amaze yourself at how far you can go. We hope you give us a try. You will find a supportive atmosphere among other group members. You will gain confidence in yourself as you watch your body change.
Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.
The CrossFit™ program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.
